In 2000, Avoridge Estate lost most of its avocado crop during the widespread flooding of the Soutpansberg region. That same year we planted our first macadamia trees to establish a dual crop system of avocados and macadamias.

Flip Potgieter had a vision for his own macadamia processing factory, which would include value-added services such as macadamia roasting and macadamia oil pressing. His dream is now a reality, with our Macridge Macadamia Oil available at many leading stores.

Avoridge and Macridge are two well established Avocado and Macadamia Nut Factories in the Limpopo Province. We have secured a network of trusted market agents locally and abroad. Our products are branded under Macridge and Avoridge and carry the trusted endorsement of Potgieter Boerdery.
